World Trade Center
A Truly HORRIFIC film. Not recommended for anyone sensitive to seeing humans suffer.
A good film, well made and sensitive to the subject. It dose not cover much of the actual event, concentrating more on a single police crew. It’s not the ‘remake of towering inferno’ some people complained it might be.
Not a film I want to see again
The Sentinel
You would think after 6 years of doing 24 Kiefer Sutherland would want to take a break from playing the super action hero. But his character in this movie is basically another incarnation of Jake Bower.
The Movie itself is good, keeping up the suspense and keeping you guessing on how they are going to resolve the storyline.
Definitely worth watching if you’re a fan of 24. Not just for Kiefer Sutherland, but because it’s like a good episode.
Right at Your Door
Now I loved the ‘docudrama’ part of this movie. The way the events of a dirty Bomb going off in LA were convaid without major special effects and instead you hear what the players here, all from the radio. The first 30 minutes or so, describing how they react to the situation was done very well and realistically.
But after that, well, lets just say the main character makes a single, totally illogical (to me anyway) decision. Which was essential to the plot, but that took away any empathy I had with him and thus made his predicament less interesting.
However, there is a good twist at the end which I was pleased with.
Not a ‘must see’ film, but glad I’ve seen it now.
