Usually I post my dreams in dreamsofshadows. But I'm posting this here because of the when more than the what.

Over the last few morning I've been wakening up 'differently' to usual. Usual being desperately wanting the stay in bed and sleep 'just five more minutes'. But over the last few days I've been wakening up and been almost instantly awake, allowing the 8 minute snooze to go on my alarm because it would be too early to get up if I didn't.

Today was no exception, apart from of course being extra excited being my Birthday. Had a 'little' headache, but nothing unusual. But when I got to work I felt strange, then the headache got worse (not a migraine, but a headache. Only someone who has had migraines could understand the difference. At around 11:30 I had to come home as the lights in the office and sounds of phone were really making me feel more unwell, and I was feeling very tired.

Came home and at about 12:00 I went to bed.

I think I fell asleep almost instantly and thats where I entered another world.

( The dream had two parts )

Just had our monthly shop delivered. Including a wonderful Birthday cake.

Off to enjoy the rest of the evening.

In a small white corridor. very bright. like a train corridor, but 'futuristic' no windows.

I've just been left there by a good friend to 'have a look'.

I think I'm older, as is friend (no idea who)

Walls are covered in ancient language (Runes or Hieroglyphs).

The dream me think s this is some sort of ancient chamber.

But as I walk along translating the language (I seem to be some sort of Archeologist) I realize something and rush to the 'plastic like' sliding door friend went into. I open it, close it and an in a very small box rom (Like an airlock) and open other door.

Inside is very like a 'futuristic' passenger plane (I think a bit like 2001) white again. I see my friend, sitting alone just in front of me, further down all the seats have tables and one other 'passenger' (No idea who) and a 'stewardess' (Don't know how I know this)

I say "This is a spaceship! And not just a Spaceship. One to take us somewhere"

He smiles and nods (He has become 'Rod Snider - Chap who plays capt. of Seaquest, and was in Jaws)

I sit on a small fouled out seat in front of him (not like other seat) And start asking Questions. Obviously he knew what this was and wanted me to find out. (Looking at the place its obviously not some ancient ruins, but my 'dream self' thought it was)

I then ask the 'stewardess (Who I now know is an Alien) a questions like 'Why' And she goes into some 'matter of fact' explanation about races being '2b's, blue, yellow and uv' Which I don't understand. When I ask what she meant by UV she is a bit embarrassed and says something like "erm... UNderneath Virtually"

Another passenger (Who wasn't there before) Walks passed her and says "We say Virtually Underneath" And continues walking.

I am shocked and pick up 'my' coke bottle (HAlf drunk) from a seat pocket (Even though I hadn't been there before) and pour it into the glass on the table (which wasn't there before)

There are now 2 other people sitting with us one is Jean my Ex Sister in law and I realise the glass had some water, or alcoholic drink in it and I apologies and drain the little bit of coke that is left and ask for another one.

I woke up at that point, feeling that this was a dream I had had before.

Spent about 15 minutes trying to decide if I should get up and write this down or not. HAving a little internal argument about if I would remember it or not.

You can see, I won LOL

Strange dream. But very interesting. If It is recurring, I look forward to having it again.

The only bit in the whole thing I can 'interpret' is the coke, as I'm very thirstily from having a take away Chinese for dinner.

Anyone care to try and interpret? :)

Strange dreams last night seemed very surreal, realistic, but surreal.

I seemed to be visiting someone, sort of like on holiday, but also at
home (in that sort of dream like way)

In this dream you could communicate with people via windows (not MS
Windows, but the big glass things that fill up the holes in your walls) Sort of
a cross between Internet chat and a phonecall.

Anyway I called my mum and she gave me some news (or maybe I gave her
some, not sure) but ended up going to see her. Which, in dream, was a long
way, but also just up the road!

Then was communicating via window with Debbie (my niece) and she had
something she wanted me to see, something like a photo or computer
program, but would have to post it.

I also I think called Peter (my Brother)

Then I decided to go see Debbie, who also lived a long way off, but
again, it was a short walk down some streets I didn't recognise.

Ended up going to se Peter. He was shocked to see me and we hugs. I
didn't want to stop hugging him. Odd that.

The whole dream seemed to have this aspect of distance, strangeness and
yet closeness and familiarity.

Most of it I can understand where it comes from. but Even though I'm
quite good at interrupting dreams I always have problems with my own. Same
reason doctors make the worst patients I guess.

Anyway, woke up a bit tired (in bed for about 23:30) but was able to
drag myself out of bed and got to work 5 minutes early. Pleased by that.

Hitash (the chap training me is doing a good job today, went through a
lot of stuff on the task list connected to the LinkScrip software. Seems
pretty okay.

What a dilemma! I actually think I might like this job! If only it paid
more I would be extremely happy, I need to keep looking for more work, but
at the same time don't want to leave! Will be interesting to look back on this
after I've been here a while :)

Had a good morning then decided to spill a whole cup of hot coffee all
over me! Nice! (Well, I say whole cup, you only get three quarters of a cup.
Still, fortunately didn't make to much mess and didn't get on the keyboard.

Lunch was not very interesting. choice of Sausage role, veggie stirfry,
pizza or Curry.

I had a plate of chips, some crisps (still no £20!) and some chocolate.

This afternoon has dragged. Did some more reading and printing out and
have had to open my red bull today. Though I'd type this up and send as
something more interesting to do than watching presentations.

Got tomorrow morning off to see the Loss Adjuster. A bit of a challenge
to 'pursued' him that we need more for the mobile phones than we paid for
them. I'll let you know how that goes.

Viv was at home this morning waiting for them to come about the door.
Insurance has agreed to pay for a new one. With a better lock.

Off to see HP tonight. looking forward to it.
