This may be my last report.
Things are not going so good here. This may be my last report.

I sent a team over to Tescos to see what was happening there, and if anyone there knew more about what was going on.

The team had six people in it.

Only two came back.

I TOLD them not to leave the car! Just to see what was going on and report back. But apparently when they got across to the superstore they found very few affected people outside. But all the doors and windows had been covered or blocked with cars and lorries.

Then they made their mistake that cost them their lives. They assumed that people must be inside and decided to clear one of the doors to look.

It took five of them to move the blockade. They didn’t have a chance.

I guess someone inside must had been infected. The two survivors said that as soon as the blockade was down the dead just flooded out. Dozens of them. The four were swarmed on and had no chance.

All hell broke loose after this news. Everyone was panicking and demanding to be in charge or demanding to be told what to do. I tried as hard as I could to make myself heard over to commotion but they were already splitting into other groups.

One group decided to take a lorry and get away as far from the city as they could. Another guy somehow persuaded about a dozen people to ‘tool up’ and go ‘zombie hunting’

A third group decided to head out, on foot. I think they have the least chance of all.

A number of people just wandered off and may be somewhere in the building but I cannot find them.

Then four infected somehow got into the building and I saw at least ten people ripped apart. It would have been much more but it seems humans naturally take the ‘shark attack’ approach when it comes to the infected. If one is attacked just be thankful it’s not you and run like hell.

There is nothing more I can do here.

I’m going to try and head home to join Viv.
